Contents of sessions :

The conference sessions are mainly focused on clinical dermatology and medical dermatology. However, sessions on relevant topics in sexually transmitted infections, Hansen’s disease, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, investigative dermatology, community dermatology, dermatosurgery, aesthetic dermatology and practice management are also incorporated in the programme. The major part of the conference programme is dedicated to showcase the research work of delegates in the form of award papers, free papers and E-posters. The unique cases with complete work-up and/or innovative therapy will be selected to present as cases of DERMACON.

Format of sessions :

The sessions are conducted, depending on the nature of subjects, in different formats. The panel discussions including two or three short lectures by experts are given more importance to facilitate active participation of delegates. In symposium, a series of 3 to 4 lectures on review of literature and updates are included to facilitate detail understanding of subject. The emerging concepts or subspecialties are discussed in view point format similar to symposium. The controversies are clarified through debate and the current best evidences are analysed by experts to recommend guidelines. Discussion of clinical problems, approach to diagnosis and management, review of literature, updates, recommendations and/or controversies form contents of topics in each session for better understanding.

Faculty :

The faculty of national and international repute will be invited to share their, view points on emerging concepts; knowledge in various aspects of a disease; opinion on controversies; expertise in recommending guidelines; and experience in solving challenging scenarios
