Overview and Objectives :

The subject of dermatology has developed leaps and bounds in recent times concerning use of cutting edge technology in the diagnosis, need of interdisciplinary collaboration in the management, rise of challenging scenarios involving common dermatoses, and emergence of new subspecialties and therapeutic modalities. It is indeed a great responsibility on scientific committee to identify relevant and significant topics, and provide a comprehensive scientific programme to all the delegates. In this regard, the scientific committee in consultation with senior and experienced members of IADVL-KN has designed the scientific programme of DERMACON INTERNATIONAL 2019 - INDIA comprising of pre-conference, CME and Conference programe with the following objectives.

  1. Consolidating our knowledge and skills in managing common dermatoses basic dermatosurgical and aesthetic procedures.
  2. Understanding our role in managing systemic diseases and upcoming subspecialties.
  3. Awareness of emerging concepts or developments in the diagnosis and management of dermatoses

Cutting Edge International Symposium :

To commemorate DERMACON INTERNATIONAL, the pre-conference CME has been planned as Cutting Edge International Symposia. It will be held in three parallel halls. The following symposia are identified to update ourselves about recent advances and trends in the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions.

  1. Symposium 1: Splitting hair: Cutting edge technology in trichology
  2. Symposium 2: Linking hands: Liaising with other specialties
  3. Symposium 3: Looking forward: Future of dermatotherapeutics
The salient features of sessions of Preconference CME are :
